Alison Wright, an English actress from the UK. Her most well-known work is her starring role as Martha Hanson on the FX period spy drama series The Americans, for which she received critical acclaim and was awarded a Primetime Emmy Award nomination in the year 2017. In addition, she has starred in Ryan Murphy's limited show Feud and Bette & Joan & Hollywood. Wright was born the 12th of July, 1976 at Sunderland, Tyne and Wear and was raised by adopted parents. Her waitressing job was interrupted through auditions for different roles. She went diving on the ocean - an interest of hers she was struck by a heart attack that left her a victim in a state like an in-hospital coma.
